There are a couple potential reasons that come to mind for this:

- You're not posting from the address that owns the list (or one that 
doesn't have the NOPOST flag).
- You've got the admin-approvepost and/or moderator-approvepost flags set 
to off/false.  This is actually a good thing security-wise.
