Finally, our new website is online, thanks to all who helped out to make
this
happen!
A few features at a glance
- clean structure, fresh content
- SSL-enabled
- quasi-dynamic areas: news section, maintainer list, etc.
What is still missing is nitpicking and translations! If you speak a
language
other than German or English, it would be really helpful if you could
translate
the page. It's not a lot of work and the page doesn't change frequently.
The
repository is at https://github.com/freedict/website and there's even a
graphical tool for it, poedit: https://poedit.net/ ;.
I'm happy to assist if you should have any questions and I'm also willing
to
sponsor a FreeDict mug for every translator, as soon as we've got a logo.
I'm going to move our downloads from SF to our new infrastructure in the
upcoming days.
