D. John,
Both disks should be external. One is esp1 scsi0 and the other esp2
scsi0.
If you are using one internal and one external drive this is not
standard.
The Internal HD is on a different SCSI bus.

Hi, all
Tried to create a mirror hard drive using an Ultra 60 or Foxboro AW51E
style GA box, it came up with an error message of "invalid partition
table" after executed dft create_sys command.
Any comments will be highly appreciated.
Some background information:
- the system is running V 6.5.2
- check helpful hints, it indicated some dft scripts issue for
version 6.2 or older, not sure if this is the same issue. =
- using an external hard drive as the mirror disc
- run dft format_disk ESP1 SCSI0 with message of operation
succeeded, (Foxboro literature states, run dft format_disk ESP2 SCSI0 on
Ultra 60 box or AW51E but was not successful)
- executed dft create_sys, invalid partition message came up. =
- check partition tables for both hard disc, both are identical as
below:
