My beef is that this has not clearly commnicated to the customers other than those who, like Ed Zychowski, called up the GPS and asked pointed questions. When the instructions on the Web site still clearly stress that customers should not download patches from no other site other than the Invensys Web site, who can divine a change of procedures? >But every smoke tested patch that has passed can be downloaded >from Microsoft and applied to I/A >All of the patches on Duc's list have been tested and blessed >and show that status on the website Again, a simple alert on the Web site stating what you stated here would have alleviated a lot of confusion. Thanks, Corey, for pointing that out. I was going to get to that eventually but you beat me to it. Say anything you like about Sun, but in the 15 or so years Solaris has been in use, I've never felt that they dictate what I have to do with my Sun boxes. But I won't go down that well-worn Solaris-is-superior-to-Windows path.
