Subject: Re: [foxboro] Trend Question
We have an IA system with legacy Informix data historians along with a
WonderWare historian.
When the fetchers for the WonderWare historian fail the trend broadcasts for
another data source. The first sources to respond are unfortunately the
Informix historians even though they can't actually serve up data to the trend.
When this happens the trends get locked to the "wrong" data source and never
switch back to the WonderWare fetchers when they become available again.
I wrote scripts to reassign the correct fetchers to the trend display files
to save time. Very annoying . . .

Subject: [foxboro] Trend Question
If a point exists in 2 historians and the historian that is setup in the trend
config fails, will the trend try to find the point somewhere else? That seems
to be occurring on a few of our WP's.
Thanks in advance,
Brian
