Russ,

Thanks, that looks like the issue. Although I received no feedback or any
messages when I picked the Disable/Enable All Reports, when I exited and
reopened System Management, the ECB now appears but the FBM is still
red/alarm. I'll check it out in a short. Thanks for the suggestion...

Have you attempted from the CP level in SMDH.....Disable and then Enable All
Reports ?

Also there were QF's for this issue if CP stops reporting to smon...

Subject: [foxboro] System Management Display shows the FCP270/FBM0 in
red/alarm, off-line, not failed; and it does not even show the FBM233

Folks,
We have an FCP270 that only connects to an FBM233, which interfaces to an
A-B PLC. Everything appears to be working well and data is being exchanged.
However, we just noticed recently that in the System Management Display, it
shows the FCP270/FBM0 in red/alarm, off-line, not failed; and it does not
even show the FBM233.

Any ideas why? Where does the System Management Display get its info from
on:
* Why it is "red/alarm, off-line, not failed" yet the FCP270 LED is
green/flashing?
* Why it doesn't show the FBM233, yet data is updating between the
FBM233 and the PLC? And the ECB201/202 FBM/DEV status colors are normal
green/white in FoxSelect.

We certainly would like to understand what we have and cannot afford to
reboot/update/download.

Thanks...
