In addition to obtaining email addresses from the victim's address book, =
the
virus also obtains email addresses by scanning old emails stored on the
vitim's PC.
So, if you posted something on the Cassandra list, and that cassandra
posting is stored on the vitim's PC, your email is now known to the =
virus
and you become a potential victim.

The fact that many of these worms harvest email addresses from the=20
victim's address book and then use those as forged return addresses =
means=20
that the emails may be coming from a machine/user who is not on the =
list,=20
but has someone on the list in their address book. I've gotten=20
"undeliverable" messages in response to emails I never sent as a result =
of=20
techniques like these worms use. Nevertheless, it can't hurt for folks =
in=20
the regions Mark named to doublecheck their machines.
