What is the script doing exactly? It sounds a little odd that poking 50 values (via omsetimp, I assume) into an IND/DEP block, at a max rate of once/minute (cron's fastest frequency to my knowledge) is making your AW crash. I don't poke that much data in on a regular basis, but I have done it before for testing and mass parameter changes and never had any problems with the AW. Corey Clingo BASF Corp. Is there a way to dynamically load in values from a text file into sequence code? I already have a text file that I format and load about 50 values into the RI's and II's of an IND block via a unix script triggered via the crontab. It works but it bogs down the AW that it's running on until it crashes and I have to reboot and basically turn off the script. I can load in the values via an include file in the sequence code but in order for the values to be loaded into memory I have to run the code through the compiler and the values are loaded into an array. I want to do load the values from an updated text file as the code runs. Any suggestions?
