Thanks guys ........ had worked too late last night. Had RTFM, but no

Thanks

Don't forget to set the IOMOPT to 0 so that the CIN block uses .IN instead
of an FBM.

If left at the default value of 1 (and no IOMID), the block will show up
undefined.

Troy:
In the CIN block connect the IN parameter :

IN = COMPOUND:PAKINBLOCK.PAKCIN.B18

So the bit 18th is connected to the CIN block in this example.

Hope this helps

Subject: [foxboro] PAKIN to Alarm

Gentlemen,
I am trying to configure alarms from a PAKIN block. Have tried several
different types of blocks with no success.
Ideally would like to take the BIT to a CIN block, but does not look like
it will work.
Any ideas on an easy, down and dirty way to grab one BIT from a PAKIN to
set an alarm.
Thanks in advance,
