There is no change delta within a CP or on one-shot sets. Thus, ::BLK.PARM := .00001; Will always result in the value changing (assuming that the parameter is accessible) Regards, Alex Johnson Invensys Process Systems Invensys Systems, Inc. 10707 Haddington Houston, TX 77043 713.722.2859 (voice) 713.722.2700 (switchboard) 713.932.0222 (fax) ajohnson@xxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Johnson Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2005 9:03 AM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [foxboro] Object Manager question Sascha, If the changes that are being written are small, make sure that the change deltas are set to appropriate values. If you are looking at the detail screen to see the RI000Xs, you might want to call the display up again to make sure that you are seeing the most recent results. If the value changes being written are large then ignore all that. If a SEQ block can't write to a parameter it will get an operational error, but if you have exception handlers running, sometimes these are set to keep going, so you might want to check that.
