I had heard it's a similar situation with Aspen and IP.21, namely, that 
the only interface they are working on any more is the one for OPC.

Like you, though, we continue to use the native FoxAPI interface. They 
still work, but stagnant software does raise some concerns (security, for 
instance).

I also recommend FoxAPI and FXBAIS. The only caveat is that OSI hasn't 
released an update to FXBAIS in two years and may not ever. This means 
that you will likely need to stay with FoxAPI version 4.3.2 plus quick 
fixes to use the latest version of FXBAIS. We tried to use it with FoxAPI 
v.4.3.3 and were unsuccessful. We haven't determined why that was true 
yet, but we went ahead and backed off to FoxAPI v4.3.2 and it worked. We 
have a ticket in with OSI.
