With the strategy open in FCS, you need to right-click on theInput/Output
reference within the function block diagram and click "Show Connections" from
the context menu. The "Connections For" dialog will open showing the input and
output connections in the form of links that you can click to navigate to the
sink/source.
It would be nice to be able to get all of the input/output reference
information for a strategy without opening the strategy (i.e. from the context
menu for the strategy itself) but I haven't seen that capability in the version
of FCS that I am using.
I also don't see a way to get a list of input/output references for a function
block the way we could do in FoxCAE. It would sometimes be helpful to have
this on the context menu for function blocks as well. It would help when the
strategy has more than 3 or 4 blocks (since you can only see a few blocks at a
time without scrolling around the function block diagram) or if you choose to
type in external reference paths directly to the function block which is much
much more efficient than creating input/output references, at the strategy
level, browsing for paths, and wiring them to the function blocks.

The source sink connections between strategies have been a part of the FCS 3.0
and above product. These automatically build as well as having the
functionality of opening the strategy drawing source or sink by selecting the
Input/Output flags added to any strategy.
These build automatically on import of Savealls and feature is very useful.
