Jim,

FF CIF is an acronym that stands for Foundation Fieldbus Control in the Field.

This is when you implement control solutions utilizing the Foundation Fieldbus
function blocks within the field devices.

The last sentence in the announcement of I/A Version 8.5 says "To take
advantage of FF CIF offering, Control Configuration MUST be performed through
Infusion IEE environment. (No ICC or IACC support)" Does anyone know what FF
CIF is? Surly Version 8.5 with security allows us to continue using ICC.
