This error also shows up when any block has a period/phase that is not
compatible with the period/phase f the compound it runs in

Stupid question - have you verified that the ECB201 period/phase are matched to
(or slower than) the ECB202?
W81 is an error code for FBM228 (FF) and so should not show up in the DNP3
driver.

Hello list,
I have a DNP3 driver running on an FDSI module FBM233. The ECB202 and
DCI blocks are running at 2s and have the same phase. THere are a
large number of DCI blocks (RIN, BIN) and I was hoping to change the
phasing to better distribute the load. When I changed the phase on the
RIN DCI block I got the following error:
W81 - INVALID PARENT DCI ECB PERIOD/PHASE
The Manual for the RIN block states this message applies to FBM228 only.
Which is not the case as it's running on an FBM233.
I have tried to replicate the error on an FBM233 running the modbus
driver and was able to change phases no problem. I could not reproduce the
error.
It appears to me that the ECB202 and all associated DCI blocks require
the same period/phase combination. Is this feature specific to the
DNP3 driver or am I missing something obvious?
Thanks,
mk
