Hi Stan, Try setting the option FV_KEEPASPECTRATIO=N in init.user. I think that gets rid of the grey bars. Unforunately you need to reboot to implement. We have done some DM -> FV conversions totally under UNIX. In those conversions we have disable various "panes" of FV that we did not need, in order to maximize screen real estate, for the converted displays. The most significant one of these panes that we have deleted is the navigation pane, on the left of the screen. When we do this in Windows, Windows does to resale the resultant display to fill the entire available real estate, instead, it preserves the aspect ratio of the graphic, and thus is constrained by the vertical height of the available real estate, and thus leaves fair sized gray borders on both sides of the screen.
