I don't know a quick/easy way. You can pop-up an overlay and force the entry 
there and it can run a script to verify the value.

One other thought - If they use the PIDA block, they can setup setpoint ramps 
and clamps. It doesn't have the normally requested "no more than x% of the 
current value" check, but it can limit the absolute value. The ramp can make it 
less disruptive to make a change.

Guys,
Does anyone know a quick simple way to setup a controller faceplate so
that the operator is required to confirm a new setpoint.  A friend of
mine had a situation where an operator miss entered a setpoint and
shutdown a unit.
