Hi,
the good old FoxDraw.. I love it (still) (-: .
You may also use FoxDraw to save and load .g files. Use "Save As .g" or just
open a .g file.
This is not the command line you asked for (enough answers on that part), but
now you have a complete picture.

Doug,

Use fdf_g.exe <filename> to convert .fdf to .g and g_fdf.exe <filename> to
convert .g to .fdf. These are found in d:\usr\fox\wp\bin\tools.

Use m1g.exe <filename> to convert .m1 to .g and gm1.exe <filename> to
convert .g to .m1. These are found in d:\opt\gms\bin

Note: you can only use m1g.exe and gm1.exe if the file you want to convert
is also located in d:\opt\gms\bin. Therefore, if you use this in a script,
you have to copy or move the file to d:\opt\gms\bin, convert it, and then
copy the converted file where you want it (and remove or move back the
original .m1 file, usually). This is not true for fdf_g.exe and g_fdf.exe,
which accept full path names as arguments. Don't ask me why.

Hi List,

What is the command line syntax to convert either .fdf or .m1 files to .g
format? I'm using a FoxDraw version 10.0 system on a Windows system.
Thanks in advance!

Doug
