Ignacio,
If the RI01 is not connected and is being written to (one shot write) from
an outside source (Sequence Block in another CP or Display)
then there could be a very small window that the value changes.
Are you experiencing this phenomena? I would be interested to know?
If the RI01 is connected to another block, the value should not change
even if the upstream block is in another CP since this would be serviced
only after all the block are executed in the target CP.
However if there is a Delay instruction (DON, DOFF) between Step1 and
Step40, then yes the value could change. If I remember correctly the Delay
instruction will cause the Block Processor to leave the block and come back
to it in the next scheduled BPC for it.

and the same instruction is repeated in the 40th line, as follows:
Step 40 IN RI01
If the value of RI01 has changed in the time between those two steps in =
the same BPC, the values that the block will read will be different?.
Suppose that the CALC block and the block where the value of the RI01 =
comes from are in the same compound.
