You might consider using the commands:

move_win
show_win

in /usr/fox/wp/bin/tools

The first can move a window around including off screen.
The second can minimize or open a window.

I've never tried it in windows off mode.

Subject: [foxboro] Alarm Manager Display; Close menu

Hi,
the "Close" menu entry in the Alarm Manager Display doesn't work as
expected on my Solaris 8 stations with I/A 7.1.1.

A mouse click on "Close" minimizes only for a short time the Alarm
manager. You see the AM going away and coming back.

The "Close" menu entry has the same function like the Alarm manager
command "minimize" and both show the same behaviour.

Has someone else the same effect?

Background: We want to call up a user disp in windows off mode and
moving the Alarm manager automatically away so that the Operator can
operate the process display.

Regards,

Andreas
