I'm only taking a shot here... Is this on a Server OS If so .....might need to run user/install from the dos prompts before installing package... -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Schouten, Frits JF Sent: Monday, July 30, 2012 7:37 PM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] Aim*Api startup issues. Hello all, I've thrown the towel in the ring. I give up. For a week or so I've been trying to figure out what's missing on the a Windows host and in particular what's missing for applications that uses Aim*Api to run smoothly. Any user application I start that has any interaction with Aim*Api, is showing the following two lines after a delay of about 10 seconds and then runs fine. User session is ready to install applications. User session is ready to execute applications. The two message lines are not too much of an issue. It's the delay that is the problem. When an application needs to run, it needs to run now and not with some startup delays. Today I saw that, when starting Aim*Api, the same delay and two lines show up. So, it looks like there is nothing wrong with the user application. It's something else that causes the issue. To throw a curve ball, any of the user applications run absolutely fine on another Windows host!! I would really appreciate some help here trying to work out what I've been missing.
