Yes performance will be down as the 270's also have less cache=20
Bits are compatible including Memory and CPU
D-Boxes are not very reliable especially prone to Mother Board problems
If sourcing second hand ask for a 400MHz with 512Mb of ram

have sourced a Sun Ultra 5 with 270 MHz.=20

Please comment whether the "270 MHz" machine's hardware will run ok with
Foxboro, if we put original hard disk into it.

Also if we replace the box, do we have to change some configuration as
host address or else somewhere in AW51D with I/A version 6.1.1 .
