Hi List I have just found that foxview does not correctly display the status of a MCOUT.PAKCRB a typical bitstate function where an objects colour is based on 2 unrelated bits use a MCOUT to bring the two bits into 1 word foxview looks at PAKCRB and using bitstate displays green for either ON red for both OFF (to reduce my options I actually use visibilities displaying a green tick for either ON and a red cross for both OFF) foxview seems to only follow the first bit if I connect the MCOUT.PAKCRB to a MCIN.II01 then use the MCIN PAKCIN everything works fine I have noticed the type differences where PAKCRB is a packed boolean ?? and PAKCIN is a packed long. I would be surprised if this has never worked since 6.2 / FV 99.2 but the problem is confirmed on 6.5.4 / FV9.0.2 and 8.4.2 / FV10.2.1 xref informs me I use this technique 550 times so I do need to know if its me or FoxView Shaun NOTICE - This message and any attached files may contain information that is confidential, legally privileged or proprietary.
