Hi all, I'm having an odd problem. I've got 3 Solaris AWs (V8.4.2) on the mesh, hosting control stations. I can open stations locally or remotely with ICC to CPs on one of them, but on the other two I get a message: "Open New Configuration, Remote Host Transfer, Failure" both locally and remotely instantly when I select a control station on that target AW in ICC. This is a recent occurance and rebooting the AWs does not help. iccprt works fine from the host AWs It may be related - when I reboot one of the AWs that hosts control stations I can't access with ICC I get the following messages in the system monitor log: 15:16:48 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = DEV_MONITOR -39 0 DEVICE MONITOR starts up 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP212N 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP211N 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP214S 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP214N 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP213N 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP213S 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP212S 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech SYSMGM 000019 Cant locate expected info CP211S 15:16:56 2011-02-22 AW203C Process = smon_ech VENK 000008 Exec format error /usr/fox/sp/sta_sw.cfg We've run through the checklist that all the older "Operational Recommendations" manuals used to show for this error message: No *cio* tasks running on any of the workstations No files in /opt/fox/ciocfg/tmp/WPLBUG directories. The + files are being created in /usr/fox/sp/locks on the target AW, but removing them does not correct the problem. I can rmount and rlogin to/from the problem AWs with no problem. Log files are not being created in /opt/fox/ciocfg/tmp/ on the target AW. Any ideas?
