[foxboro] Anuciator alarm horns

We just had an event where none of the anuciator alarm horns on a node were
working. This was probably triggered, in our case, by an attempt to add a WP
to this node. One of my co-workers resolved this with the assistance of TAC.
I am trying to document what happened here, and frankly I am confused by his
notes. The problem was, as I understand it, that DEV_MONITOR was not
running. The solution involved running /opt/fox/bin/tools/glof -p
DEV_MONITOR to find out what station last ran this, and restarting the
process.

Can anyone point me to some documentation on this functionality?

zero, they had no way to indicate successful termination of their C
programs.
