We just had an event where none of the anuciator alarm horns on a node were working. This was probably triggered, in our case, by an attempt to add a WP to this node. One of my co-workers resolved this with the assistance of TAC. I am trying to document what happened here, and frankly I am confused by his notes. The problem was, as I understand it, that DEV_MONITOR was not running. The solution involved running /opt/fox/bin/tools/glof -p DEV_MONITOR to find out what station last ran this, and restarting the process. Can anyone point me to some documentation on this functionality? -- One of the main causes of the fall of the roman empire was that, lacking zero, they had no way to indicate successful termination of their C programs. _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
