Hello all,
Indian Linux Users Group, Chennai [ ILUGC ] is spreading awareness on
Free/Open Source Software (F/OSS) in Chennai since January 1998.
We usually meet on the second Saturday of every month, and for the
month of May we shall meet on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1600 IST.

Topic: RISC-V ISA processor embedded with linux kernel.
Description: RISC-V processor is more compatible then other processors
and also how riscv is been ported in linux operating system complete
procedure.

Description: I'll talk a little about how Linux kernel development
works. Then I'll go over the steps on how to send a patch that fixes
coding style errors(Checkpatch errors) and share my experience in
doing the same.

About speaker: Abdun Nihaal. I'm a final year B.E. computer science
student at St. Joseph's college of engineering. I am beginner in
contributing to the Linux kernel. I recently made my first Linux
kernel patch, so I thought I'll share it with people at ILUGC and
hopefully help others get started on contributing to the Linux kernel.
