For His bride is why Christ came,
So His People He could claim.
For God’s Justice to fulfill,
So Christ died upon that Hill.
For His bride to be made pure,
So her payment Christ endured,

That is why my Savior came.
For His Bride defied Thy Law,
So her payment Christ endured,
To save His bride from Her sins,
So that she could be with Him.
For His bride is justified,
By the Christ who came to die.
Sacrificial Lamb was He,
So my Savior died for me.
Though His bride a harlot be,
While so blind she could not see.
Yet the Savior calls her home,
For her sins He did atone.
Nevermore to be condemned,
Evermore to be with Him.
For His bride Christ died for sin,
So she’ll ever be with Him.
