Greetings sis Reis, et al;
This verse contains a glorious picture of CHRIST's gathering of HiS
children at the "last trump". As mr Hawker reflects upon this event we
are blessed even as we are in contemplating the various visitations of
the LORD to those whom HE has loved from the beginning, such as the
thief on the cross and the Philippian jailer. When this call comes,
those who are bidden to the feast and clothed in wedding garments
delight to hear it saying with John, Even so come LORD JESUS. In such
an hour as ye think not HE shall come. Watch and pray brethren. To
those that look for HIM shall HE appear the second time unto salvation.
