Amen to mr. Hawker's comments. This that which Peter declared on the
Day of Pentecost, /"For the promise is unto you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall
call." (Acts 2:39/) The LORD gives LIFE to those HE calls. "/All that
the FATHER giveth me shall come to me." "My sheep hear my voice and
they follow me./" HE causes the dead to hear, such an amazing feat.
"/Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind
bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst
not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is
born of the Spirit." (John 3:7-8) "And this is the record, that God
hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath
the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."
(1John 5:11-12)
