Let me tell you, I LOVE my job, and there is an opening on my team.
We build e-learning web-based training, learning interactions,
learning games, performance support systems, infographics,
learning-related RIAs and authoring applications, and multimedia
experiences with video and audio.  Our team is virtual, we have
employees spread all over the U.S. from Charlotte to Los Angeles and
you can work from home 100% (though if you are already in the
Charlotte area, perfect).  We're looking for a multimedia rock star
with an e-learning background.  Primary emphasis on people with
experience in Flash/Actionscript, e-learning, and UI/graphic Design

Job Title: Instructional Technology Designer 

 

Location:  Flexible (you can work from home 100% if you prefer)

Note: Remote candidates must have high speed ISP and access to BAC
facility for network access within an hours drive.

 

Reports to:  Design and Development Manager within Global Learning
Shared Services 

 

Responsibilities:

Design and develop eLearning technology and media elements including
but  not limited to graphics, instructional simulations, electronic
performance support, Virtual Instructor Led Learning, Web Based
Training, Video, Audio, Wiki, and other forms of informal learning
delivery.  Participate in learning development project teams and
instructional technology research and development, client consulting,
individual and special project assignments, and cross-team projects.
Will partner closely with and advise Learning Consultants and
Instructional Designers to fully support the line of business needs
for web based training solutions.  

 

Required Skills

 

1.         Must have a MINIMUM of 3-5 yrs experience with
Instructional Design/Instructional Technology Design  

2.         Must have experience in developing learning solutions and
components for web based trainings. 

3.         Strong multimedia experience is required (Photoshop,
Animations, Graphic Design, Flash, Actionscript, etc) 

4.         Experience with SabaPublisher or Lectora is a plus.

5.         Experience with Web-based WBT authoring tools

6.         Below competencies are all MUST have skill sets.

            Develops a comprehensive understanding of customer/client

Instructional design

            Designs and develops training solutions to address
business/performance needs; selects/creates appropriate level and type
of content and program flow/sequencing; employs the most effective
instructional delivery and measurement techniques to ensure the
performance objectives are met.

Learning and development

            Understands the body of knowledge surrounding the
development of skills required for effective performance in a role,
including needs assessment; development objective-setting; training
design, development, delivery, and evaluation; coaching and feedback;
and experience-based development.

Leverage technology/tools

            Uses Bank of America technology, tools and resources to
access, analyze and distribute information; demonstrates an
understanding of the technology available to effectively support
business partners/customers/clients.

Project management

            Continually monitors LPM project plans to ensure plan
accurately reflects tasks and expectations of ITD role at all times.
Ensures that a clear, coherent plan to guide project execution and
control is in place for every project.  Escalates issues that may
impact project success to the PM or manager in timely fashion so that
appropriate intervention can be taken.
