I was called into Major Orr's (Old Army Orr of the Ordnance Corps was his

We were in the midst of our brief conversation when Holzman walked in. I
stood up in respect as she was a lady, and addressed her as Holstein. The
room fell deathly quiet. I was embarrassed and corrected myself and
apologized. Nothing was said further.

There were several of us in Lt Holzzman's class spring semester our pisshead

map reading, she asked us "what color is the water?" (in her Yankee accent)
Without practice, without prompting, we all said "blue" trying to mimic her
Yankee accent. The next class, she did not come in, Cpt. Orr or another
captain came in and instructed us in the proper way to treat an office - we
were doing pushups for quite a while.
Doesn't anyone else remember this? Many of us decided to go D&C because of

I was D&C but Holtzman was the only female bull that year, as I remember.
She was disliked by many, both cadet and cadre. Her smart-ass Yankee mouth
and accent didn't exactly endear her to us Texican boys..... I believe she
was on staff on pisshead year also, I seem to remember having her for a few
classes in the Trigon.

I agree with Ted. LT Holtzman was the only female bull. She tried so hard to
be a ballbuster and failed miserably. I think the Aggie bulls weren’t
particularly enamored with her but the non Aggie ones treated her decently.
Rumor was CPT Webber our Army advisor was nailing her. I never believed it
until our butt year when Brian Green got me a job as a projectionist/cashier
at the Sun Theater and they walked in together to watch the groad flicks. I
kept my eyes straight ahead and didn’t act like I knew them or make eye
contact but I know he knew I recognized them. Hell, I was getting ready for
summer camp and spent enough time in his office. Groad

Ruth Ann was our same class year. Not a bull. Or a bull-ette!
I once had a dinner date with her spring 77 and someone... I wonder who,
sent me to the quad the next day. A Monday. Duncan was closed on Sunday
nights. We had to eat off campus. My only quadding.
Anyone in this group gonna fess up?

Hey, Dr. COL Wright, or other Air Force guys.
Do any of you recall a female officer in the ROTC detachment during our
years there?
Having an online discussion with a guy who claims his mom was one, in the
first year women were in the Corps, so 1974-1975. Says the male officers
treated her like crap, and some cadets refused to salute.
Sounds like a fairy tale to me, I was D&C, but would have been taken ROTC in
pisshead year, and I don't recall a female. You'd think one would be rare
enough to register on me.
A scan of the Aggielands online also fails to show any female officers in
any branch.
