Home now. Raining in Dillon this morning so no coffee on the deck ... too cold
... 49 ... felt 41 as reported by Don. Rain turned to snow at the
divide/tunnel/the-pass/Lovelnd. my computer is working ... hooray,.
Tonight is 5281 ... family dinner at 5281. Kim and Henry are here from AZ ...
for Bronco game. Henry always haa season tickets. For Pam 3 night 2 bedroom
condo rental was $500 for our half Evidently this will become an annual thing.
Deb and Donna got a kick out of telling their old GNO stories. We got a
little rain yesterday when the hurricane passed. We kept an eye on the sail
boat that got caught. he got his sail down and motored near the far shore back
to base. As soon as the storm passed, paddle boards entertained. Some one
recently died on a paddle board ... fell off and drowned. Dillon is owned by
the City of Denver ... for their water supply which violates a basic tenant of
water law water must stay in the watershed/basin it falls in. not only is
Denver violating, they are taking it to the opposite ocean. Denver has a
stupid rule: no one can get in the water. They claim it is for safety
reason.Die of exposure in 50 degree water in not many minutes. People assume
it is for sanitary reasons, although the fish do far more disgusting stuff in
their water supply than humans could ever do, not to mention motorized craft.
As for me i put my trust in the treatment plant. They do a good job ... i used
to have one in Maryland. Gotta get rolling.Thanks.DP
