We watched Hamilton last night. Disney bought the rights to video and
broadcast it. It was excellent. Now I want to know more about Miranda the kid
who wrote it. All of the history I knew conformed. I did not know a lot about
Hamilton due to my pro-Jefferson bias and the rivalry between the two. I did
not know Hamilton was married and had kids (8 according to Wikipedia).
I am always amazed when I find another Founder from the shadows and read some
of his words. They all seem amazingly libertarian ... everyone leaves everyone
else alone. ... AKA liberty. I believe this value persists in the American
value system, explaining where the term limits voters and Perot voters came
from.
