Closed. First time I went was a Sunday and they only do platelits on Sunday.
Second trip they were closed for lunch ... they don't do lunch in Colorado.
Third time was Friday and intentionally waited until 2:30 so any lunch hour
would e over... and on Fridays they close at 2:00. I'm getting the feeling
they think they are doing me a favor. I just want to save someone's life ... a
little cooperation would be good. I've spent about $100 on gas so far and not
saved anyone. I suppose it's my fault for not doing better figuring out their
hours, stupid rules, etc.
They say my blood is special so they save it for babies ... they cannot give
female O negative to babies ... and something else that makes me special. Back
home i know the names of many of the regular flabotomy folks: Amy, Ruth,
Loraine. Assuming all of my 8+ gallons has gone to babies and a baby unit is
far smaller, that multiplies out to hundreds of babies. DP
