Hadn't seen this yet but find it interesting - and not surprising. I
thought that this was a strange acquisition for Verizon when it happened
and not stunned to see the divestiture now. I think Verizon was trying
to play "me too" with AT&T rather than making a good strategic
investment (not that I'm any type of expert here).

people use Facebook groups for different kinds research, travel info, family

out there I would have thought they could have improved the interface and made
it a viable alternative.
Wonder what the new folks will do with yahoo mail. They definitely need to
improve its app.
