I ran into Dave Daughenbaugh in the NCO club on Osan AFB in South
Korea. To make it even stranger, Oki's older sister who happened to be
in the club that day and knew Dave, came over to us and told me he
(Dave) was there. To this day it is not clear how she made the the
connection between us. And because Oki's sister is no longer with us,
it will forever remain a mystery.

We must have just crossed paths. We were at the Best Western Grants Inn last night. Left this morning to go mineral digging at the Porter Mirabal and Prospector mines south of Grants, looking for fluorite. We then drove up to Farmington to attend an open house at the Sherman Dugan Museum at the San Juan College. Hope to make it home in Colorado, back to the snow and cold, tomorrow.
We were attending a mineral symposium at New Mexico Tech in Socorro, NM and doing field trips.
