After 7 1/2 hours of surgery I’m in the recovery room with Walter. The Dr has been in
several times. He’s pleased with how he did & how the surgery went. He had to take a
larger part of the stomach than planned, but wants to make sure it doesn’t come back. Took
several lymph nodes but said they looked good. Will await biopsy. He has tubes he’s not
happy about but just medicated for pain & he’s asleep. Been here since 5:45 AM so I’m
beat but feeling good about his recovery. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers & PP.
