just learned that Portugal had a King Denis (who knew?) in the mid 1300s. He
gave sanctuary to knights Templars when they were being persecuted in France
and Spain France had 2600 when Phillip IV order them all captured and killed
on Friday the 13th (why that date is superstitious) (he owed them money so
easier to kill them than to pay up.). about 2000 got away with their loot but
history does not know where they went. I saw a you tube the other day ... very
interesting.
