Enjoyed the article Steve. I've watched quite a few of the Lagina brothers'
shows about their excavation attempts and, like you, I was sceptical. But the
brothers are legit, and now that they've found some artifacts, the Knights
Templar theory seems possible.DonnaP. S. Marry Lagina has winery in Traverse

History does not know where they went - yet.
There is a program on the History
Channel about Oak Island in Nova Scotia where treasure
hunters have been looking for buried treasure continuously since
the late 1700's. I first started watching this program with a
great deal of skepticism but over the years have begun to think
there just might be something there. They continue to find buried
infrastructure, like stone path ways and wooden piers, pieces of
burned sailing ships, etc. There have also been various artifacts
found, the most significant was a cross made of
lead scientifically determined to be made of lead coming
from a long closed lead mine that was active in the same time and
place where Templars were active.
Such notables like Franklin Delano Roosevelt invested in, and
spent time on, Oak Island searching, and Errol Flynn, John Wayne,
Vincent Astor, and Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd are said to have
invested in companies set up to search for treasure on Oak Island
over the decades.
More and more people are convinced that some (perhaps many) of
the Templars escaped massacre and brought their treasures to north
America. And, indeed, may have been buried on Oak Island.
Millions of dollars are being invested annually in searching for
"anything" that may be buried there by a large team of engineers,
scientists, and archeologists. There are several other theories
as to who did, and what, may buried there, Vikings among them, but
the prevailing theory is Tempars.
So, maybe in our life time we just be able to know a little more
about the enigmatic history, their demise (or lack thereof), of
the Knights Templars.
Stay safe, Steve

I fear "Karen" is one of those dated names that is
dying out. When I was young, I hated it; now I rather
like it. I do not know ANY young Karens. For many
years when I was working, there were four (yes, four!)
of us Karens in our office! How odd is that? There
were other Karens in our high school class also.

I think you are right. we were the only
Marsha/Marcias I at Lincoln school. Marsha isn’t that
odd of a name, but it’s uncommon enough I notice when
I meet or read about another one. When I was working
there was a Marsha Opperman who was an exec assistant.
We were the only two Marsha’s and it was very
confusing to people since the last names were similar.
We would often get each other’s email.
