Here is a list of world's happiest countries in 2022. This may hold
some surprises for some of you. The list comes from the World Happiness
Report, a publication of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
1. Finland (fifth year in a row)
2. Denmark
3. Iceland
4. Switzerland
5. Netherlands
6. Luxembourg
7. Sweden
8. Norway
9. Israel
10. New Zealand
Canada comes in at 15, the United States comes in at 16, and the United
Kingdom comes in at 17, making it into the top 20. The survey of this
year's happiness rankings was conducted well before Putin's invasion.
Ukraine and Russia both fall into the bottom half of world rankings with
Ukraine at 98 and Russia at 80. Coming in at 146 is Afghanistan, the
very bottom of the rankings.
