Things do seem to be picking up some Covid-shot wise, Dave, or at least in NE
WI areas. The last few days there have been a lot of TV news accounts about
new clinics setting up in GB & Fox Valley areas. Yours should be hopefully
coming soon! -sheri

We got a check, but I was half expecting an Economic Payment card because we
don't have a direct deposit account registered with the IRS. I had seen a
report on the news where they were saying that the IRS was behind in issuing
checks and if you didn't get your check by the end of the month, you would
need to claim a credit for $600/1200 on your federal income tax, when you
file this year.
Along with this report it said that some would receive the Economic Payment
card, and some people were throwing the card away thinking it was some type
of promotion or scam. So, Dave, you are not alone in your confusion. Most
likely what you have in your hand is a legitimate debit card from the IRS.
It would be prudent to check it out to be sure because there are scammers out
there exploiting any means to separate you from your cash, but you almost
certainly have the real deal. I never did understand from the report exactly
why some receive this card.

Well, here we are with another big storm coming in and making me happy to beTo post, send email to FHS-65@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and please be sure to sign all

country. Waiting for our health care provider to schedule us. I saw West
Virginia has administered 81 percent of the vaccine they have received and
in California the medics were caught in the snow in a long line of traffic
and rather than waste the shots they administered them to people who would
take the vaccine. My real question is this, did anyone else receive and
Economic Payment card in lieu of a check from the Treasury Dept or is this a
scam? Looks like a credit card, but there are fees listed on the back. Dave
