*1st ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CURRY FESTIVAL AND COOK-OFF COMPETITION COMES TO
TAMPA BAY*
September 17th, 2011

Tampa, Fla., September 17, 2011 - Curry lovers and novice will head to Tampa
to celebrate one of the Worlds' favorite dishes, curry! The most eagerly
anticipated ethnic food Festival and three-pot Cook-off for Professionals
and Amateurs will be culminated with music and entertainment. This will be
the first of its kind in the United States on this scale. The event takes
place on Sept. 17 at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, FL.
- Featuring signature culinary creations from internationally known* Master
Chefs Vicky Ratnani from India, Chef Suman Roy from Canada, Chef Massimo
from Italy/Tampa*
- *Red **carpet VIP event*
- The Gala will feature England's newest sensation *Sonna Rele. Come
mingle with the "Silk Teddy Bear" Ruben Studdard, Donnie Klang, winner of
"Making The Band 4", and Torontos Roach Killa and Tampas Danger!*
- 50 vendor booths
- The Cook-off! Admission is* FREE* and open to the public from* 9-3 pm*.

- The dishes will be paired with beers and wines specifically designed to
accompany curry dishes.
- In honor of the Festival and Oktoberfest, the World of Beer on N Dale
Mabry will launch a special beer tasting on *Thursday Sept 15th!*
The Tampa Bay International Curry Festival is hosted by Georgetown Wesleyan
University, USA (GWUA). The International Curry festival is not solely about
curries. It is a celebration of the vitality and energy of the Tampa Bay
community, a melting pot of cultures formed by waves of migration that has
seen Indian, African, the Caribbean Islands, South & Latin Americans,
Europeans and the Middle Eastern arrival settling in the Tampa Bay area.
