in the rear of the historic Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1200
Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219.
Come & be INSPIRED by Pastor Brown of Baltimore's Pleasant Hope Baptist Church
and The Black Church Food Security Network which fights food apartheid by:
*Helping congregations grow food on church-owned land;
*Serving as a food hub;
*Linking black churches and black farmers; and
*Creating a community-controlled, alternative food system based on
self-sufficiency and black food and land sovereignty.
Come & be INFORMED by local people doing the work, along with preachers,
professors, and politicians about what we’re doing now and plan to do to
increase access to affordable, clean food in our communities!
Come & be BLESSED! We’re planning an outdoor, tent-revival style celebration
with good music, so bring your family and friends, (esp. all the apostles,
bishops, deacons, elders, evangelists, ministers, preachers, prophets, a
blanket to sit on, an ear to hear, and a mind to think & work!
My graphic design artist wasn't available, so I had to create this flyer on my
own. It's not as perfect as previous iterations, but I wanted to get this
information out so please don't judge me!
