Annette has a problem , she received a call from an unknowen sender(not a
person in her contact list), she did not take the call, but sometime later
she got another call from the same number, and again she did not answer the
call.
Then she rang the number to discover a fellow charity worker was ringing
her, and could not leave a message. When someone rings Annette and wants to
leave a message, they are asked to press 1 to leave a message although the
virtual keyboard does not come on automatically.
After several attempts to solve this by going to settings and then phone,
there was no obvious way of solving the problem.
We set up another answer/greeting on the voice mail, but this also proved
fruitless.
The concensus was that there was something the service provider might have
to do, her provider is EIR.
She will call to the carphone warehouse who set up her phone to see if they
can solve her problem.
Bob raised an interesting question, why are the apps in the app store not
in alphabetical order like most other things are on your smart phone or PC?
Nobody could shed any light as to why this is,
Mary helped Annette add that unknowen sender to her contact list.
Mary wanted to know what some of the music and u tube items were on the top
of her virtual keyboard,
So she sent a music attachment (monkeys singing happy birthday)
To Annette's phone, much to Annette's delight (whatever floats your boat !!)
A strange but fun meeting was had by all.
