Apple 'to roll out iOS 7.1 update next month' Apple will roll out its iOS 7.1 operating system next month, according to a report. 9to5Mac claims to have heard from "reliable sources" that the incremental update will be showcased at an event in March. The iOS 7.1 software is not expected to be radically different to the current iOS 7 build, with user interface tweaks, an improved Calendar app, increased speed and bug-fixes among its key features. Apple has also been tipped to include its iOS in the Car feature with iOS 7.1, allowing users to sync their device with the dashboard of their vehicle. The Cupertino firm is rumoured to be holding an event centred on its next-generation Apple TV in the coming weeks, and could unveil the new OS alongside the set-top box. Apple is yet to officially confirm a release date for iOS 7.1. iPhone 6 concepts show how the smartphone could look with larger screen Concept designs of Apple's next iPhone device have emerged online. Designer Federico Ciccarese predicted how the iPhone 6 could look in various sizes, based on reports and rumours. The concepts show the iPhone with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens, which Apple has been widely tipped to adopt for sometime. Both large-screen models feature edge-to-edge screens, as well as five icons along the 4.7-inch handset and six on the wider 5.5-inch device. Images of the rear show the iPhone with a curved, brushed aluminium look with a centred camera. The latest speculation suggests that the iPhone 6 could feature a 10-megapixel camera with enhanced filter. =========================================================== The fb-exchange mailing list Manage account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/fb-exchange Archives: //www.freelists.org/archives/fb-exchange Administrative contact: insight@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ===========================================================
