would a participant be able to join by phone? as my broadband is rubbish.

Retina 2020 Public Engagement Day. The event is designed for people living
with vision impairments and their families.
This year we'll welcome international rugby star Ian McKinley, founder of
Esme's Umbrella Group Judith Potts and the Senior Director of Scientific
Outreach & Community Engagement at Foundation Fighting Blindness, Ben
Shaberman.
Public Engagement Day will be hosted through the online video and audio
conference platform Zoom. The tool is accessible and can be used on your
desktop PC, laptop, iPad or smartphone.
As the event is taking place online this year, the timetable cannot
accommodate condition specific breakout sessions. Instead, we will hold
condition specific webinars early in the new year.
