hi, folks -- I’ve been helping with the Sunday afternoon computer help program
that’s just getting off the ground and hoping that some of you can join us as
we try to develop it as an ongoing project. You don’t have to be any kind of a
technology whiz, especially since there’s a student volunteer component being
built up, primarily just a responsible adult.
Residents come with their laptops or cell phones looking for both specific and
general help. We have some iPads to let people use, too. This all takes place
in the Great Room on the first floor. We’re developing a good, relaxed informal
atmosphere, and that’s as important as anything.
If you can help out on a regular, occasional, or substitute basis, or have any
questions about this, please do get in touch with me.
thanks, ----peter

Families and Friends of 100 Centre St., Brookline, supports
the quality of life of residents living there. We work with
residents and the administration on developing programs and
activities that encourage the residents' children and other
family members to interact, get involved in the social life
of the building, and support each other with the challenges
of aging.
