Subject: 835/Pappas Issues
Tom -
A former Board member was contacted by Jeanne Pappas who is really unhappy with
how her issues are being handled by Dase Management. These issues were raised
at the June 8th Board meeting - nearly two months ago - and no progress:
- After a month, there is no progress on her patio. Apparently,
you can see outside daylight from her basement where the
patio is broken? Someone showed up, looked at it, was
supposed to return and it never got fixed. Now she's
being told she has to wait until August 30 to get it fixed.
That seems unreasonably long.
Lou Arrigoni is still working part time Sat and Sunday.
We also have a new handyman that could probably address this.
- The tree on her front is rubbing on the roof and eroding the
shingles. This was reported some time ago but has yet to be
fixed. Rosemont is here every week and this should have been
done a while ago.
- She also commented on the Oakton side of the new lock. Apparently,
it looks pretty bad. I've not checked it, but it may be time
to consider a new gate, I don't know.
I realize it is hard scheduling people, but the new handyman is fairly prompt
and Lou is still available (I have direct confirmation that he's still doing
some jobs).
It's hard to believe we cannot help out a lady in her 80s after almost two full
months.
We have also repeatedly asked you to update our punchlist with pending work and
report back weekly on where we stand. I hate getting these calls out of the
blue and then having to chase you down to get answers.
It would be really nice if you'd start doing this so we can offer the
homeowners some point of view on where their work requests stand.
One of the most common complaints we hear is that they call and call and never
get any meaningful status back from you.
Please address and get back to us.
