Hi everyone, I am one of the new ones.

I work as a deputy director at the Zoo Hluboka in the Czech Republic
(officially the South Bohemian Zoo Hluboká nad Vltavou - you can learn

Officially, I am responsible for conservation education, but I also deal
intensively with exhibition design, including planting plants inside and
around animal enclosures. This is much based on my practice as a university
teacher of biogeography. We have done a great deal of work in this regard in
recent years and we think about it that our zoo could eventually become also
a botanical garden.

I also concentrate on reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.

Ask me anything. I like to be inspired by your work and I will gain new
experience.

I discovered the Zoohorticulture Group by accident when I read the latest
EAZA eNews, so I do not know its work and actually I do not know anyone from
group members, respectively I do not know who is a member.

The Czech zoos are also closed, to date, a total already for 5 months. And
it does not look like we should open soon.

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well despite the difficult times we are facing.
Here in Randers, Denmark have been closed for over a month, and it does not
seem that we will open anytime soon. We are living in a kind of status quo.
Luckily we are all staying healthy and trying to cope best we can.
