Have you ever tried using the labeling feature of the Digit-Eyes app? If you
create a free account on the http://digit-eyes.com/ website, you can print your ;
own labels at the website. They have a list of compatible label forms on the
website, and I believe most are cheaper than the Pen Friend labels. Actually,
I've even printed labels on plain paper and then used Scotch Tape to affix them
to items I want to label.
(The tricky part of printing on paper is cutting them apart, of course, but it
is pretty inexpensive.)
The site actually generates QR codes. You can record labels, just like the Pen
Friend, or you can type in text on the website so that it's already attached to
the barcode when it prints. Text labels can be read by any QR reader, but the
audio labels are stored on your phone (and in the cloud, if you do backups.)
If you need two of the same label, for labeling both the record and its sleeve,
you can print the file twice. The app costs $9.99.
Just a thought.

Good evening everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has a pen friend or knows of someone that does have
one that thy are not using anymore.
I performed my first dj set last night for four hours and want to use the pen
friend to label all my vinyl records.
But as you know the pen friend allows for one of each label, so want to get a
separate one for my records.
If you come across one let me know and how much you would like for it and we
can work something out.
Also, don't forget I have a nice selection of computers if anyone is interested.
For next to nothing on the cost as they were given to me.
Might just need a hard drive update to an ssd for around twenty bucks.
