Subject: [exchangelist] winmail.dat

http://www.MSExchange.org/

hi,

we recently upgraded some of our users to outlook 2003. since then some of
the recipients are receiving a winmail.dat file attached to their email.
while they are able to read the message, they are constantly prompted to
open the attachment.

we are running exchange 2000 sp3, windows 2000 sp 4. our global settings
are set to provide both plain text and html message encoding. and i have
checked off never to use rtf.

please help me resolve this issue.
thanks
